ABOUT US

Founder

Over the years, my life has become much richer and fuller because of horses. In June of 2009, I founded the Two Hearts Horsemanship Program in an effort to bring a new and innovative therapeutic approach to the resident children at a prominent children’s home in Mesa, Arizona. The premise is that the loving hearts of horses can help heal the broken hearts of people through a variety of experiences with the horses and through Christ-centered mentorship. It can open the broken hearts of our “guests” so they can learn to love and trust again. By pairing people with horses who have remarkably similar backgrounds, and then pairing the two with a qualified mentor, the lost and broken can begin to find hope again. We strive to strengthen the mind, body and elevate the spirit of our guests through this unique approach.

The Homestead is so much more than horses, fences and dirt... the message of the Two Hearts Horsemanship program goes far beyond the limits of our little area.  In the same way, the message we wish to pass on also knows no boundaries.  It is the message of HOPE.  We invite you to become part of the Two Hearts family, a human thread woven together with others into a living tapestry of action, healing and love.  In the Two Hearts Program, we know that something profound and beautiful awaits those who choose to live out the message of hope in the world around them.
